Clone the repo
$ git clone https://github.com/root-project/root.git
Make a directory for building
$ mkdir build
$ cd build
Run cmake and make
$ cmake ../root
$ make -j8
Setup and run ROOT
$ source bin/thisroot.sh
$ root
